Q100G-L40-DOxx – 100G QSFP28 O-Band DWDM Transceiver, 40 km
The Q100G-L40-DOxx is a high-performance 100G QSFP28 optical transceiver designed for O-Band nWDM transmission over single-mode fiber. It supports 8 nWDM wavelengths with 400 GHz channel spacing, enabling cost-effective multi-wavelength transport without the complexity of full C-band DWDM systems. The module is optimized for 100G multi-wavelength WDM links up to 40 km, making it well suited for metro access, aggregation networks, and point-to-point transport.
The transceiver converts four lanes of 25G NRZ electrical input into a single 100G PAM4 optical signal and performs the reverse operation on the receive side. It is fully compliant with QSFP28 MSA, IEEE 802.3bs, and 100G Lambda MSA, ensuring broad interoperability with modern switches and routers. A duplex LC optical interface and a single 3.3 V power supply make the module easy to deploy in high-density environments.
With a high-sensitivity APD receiver, integrated digital diagnostics, and support for commercial operating temperatures, the Q100G-L40-DOxx provides a robust and efficient solution for 100G O-Band WDM transmission where simplicity, reach, and operational stability are key.
