Single Fiber LGX Module for Passive Optical Networks
The GPON / XGS-PON + 2CH CWDM WDM multiplexer is a passive optical module designed to combine GPON, XGS-PON and CWDM transport wavelengths on a single fiber. This solution enables network operators to maximize fiber capacity while maintaining compatibility with existing PON infrastructure.
The module allows GPON (2.5G), XGS-PON (10G) and CWDM transport channels (1530 nm and 1550 nm) to coexist on the same fiber pair. It is commonly used in FTTH access networks, broadband infrastructure and mobile transport networks where both access traffic and additional wavelength services must be transported simultaneously. The device is delivered as a plug-in LGX module, making it suitable for installation in LGX4 enclosures or 1U rack systems.
