The GLOBALfiber XGS-PON OLT Transceiver (N2 class) is a carrier-grade SFP+ optical module designed for 20 km XGS-PON access networks requiring higher optical margins than standard N1 deployments. It is intended for pure XGS-PON architectures, without GPON coexistence, and is well suited for higher split ratios or networks with increased distribution loss.
With increased transmit power, enhanced receiver sensitivity, and industrial temperature operation, the N2 variant provides a robust and predictable foundation for demanding access environments.
