10G /25G/50G SFP56 LR Transceiver – 10 km (S50G-LR2)
The S50G-LR2 is a high-performance multi-rate SFP56 LR optical transceiver designed for 10G, 25G, and 50G Ethernet applications over single-mode fiber. Supporting 50GBASE-LR and eCPRI wireless fronthaul, this module enables flexible network upgrades while maintaining backward compatibility with existing infrastructure.
Built around a 1310 nm DFB laser and PIN photodiode receiver, the S50G-LR2 delivers reliable transmission up to 10 km with low power consumption below 2 W. It supports PAM4 modulation at 26.5625 GBd for 50G, as well as NRZ modulation for 25G and 10G operation, making it ideal for mobile networks, access aggregation, and data center interconnects.
The transceiver complies with IEEE 802.3cd, SFF-8472, SFF-8432, and IEEE 802.3 50GBASE-LR standards, and includes integrated Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) for real-time operational visibility.
