The 100GBASE-ZR4 QSFP28 optical transceiver is designed for high-speed 100 Gigabit Ethernet transmission over long distances up to 100 kilometers using single-mode fiber (SMF). It operates at a 1310nm wavelength and connects via duplex LC connectors.
This module utilizes four independent wavelengths for data transmission, with internal multiplexing and demultiplexing handled by the transceiver. It complies with IEEE 802.3, SFF-8636, and RoHS 10 standards, ensuring reliable and eco-compliant deployment across enterprise and carrier-grade networks.
Equipped with Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) via the I²C interface, the module enables real-time monitoring of critical operating parameters such as temperature, voltage, laser bias, and optical power, as defined by the QSFP28 MSA.
