The QSFP-100G-ER4 compatible QSFP28 optical transceiver module is engineered for 100GBASE Ethernet transmission over distances up to 40?km via single-mode fiber (SMF). Operating at a wavelength of 1310?nm and using duplex LC connectors, the module carries 100 Gigabit Ethernet over four separate wavelengths, with internal multiplexing and demultiplexing.
This transceiver features a BOX + FPC + PCBA separated construction, delivering high reliability, excellent thermal performance, and airtight sealing. It complies fully with the IEEE 802.3ba standard and supports Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) via the I2C interface, as specified in the QSFP28 MSA. This allows real-time monitoring of parameters such as temperature, voltage, and optical power.
