The 400GBASE-SR8 OSFP optical transceiver module is designed to deliver 400 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity over distances of up to 100 meters on OM4 multimode fiber (MMF) using an 850 nm wavelength. The module utilizes a single MPO-16 APC connector and supports parallel optical transmission based on PAM4 modulation.
Fully compliant with OSFP MSA, CMIS 4.1, and IEEE 802.3cd / 400GAUI-8 standards, this transceiver ensures broad interoperability across modern 400G network platforms. Integrated Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM/DDM) provides real-time access to operating parameters such as optical power, temperature, and voltage.
Optimized for low power consumption, high reliability, and efficient thermal management, the Finned Top OSFP design makes this module ideal for data centers, cloud infrastructure, and high-density Ethernet deployments. In addition to native 400GBASE-SR8, the module also supports 8 × 50G-SR breakout connectivity.
