The 800G OSFP Passive Direct Attach Copper (DAC) Twinax cable is designed for ultra-high-speed 800G Ethernet interconnects in modern AI, HPC, and cloud data centers. This solution provides an OSFP-to-OSFP copper connection optimized for short-reach deployments between high-density switches.
Built as a twin-port 2×400Gb/s OSFP configuration, the cable integrates eight high-speed electrical lanes, each supporting up to 100Gb/s using 100G-PAM4 modulation. The result is an aggregated bandwidth of 800Gbps over passive copper.
Both connectors feature a finned-top OSFP design engineered for air-cooled switch platforms, ensuring proper thermal performance in high-power switching environments. With ultra-low latency, near-zero power consumption, and plug-and-play deployment, this passive DAC is ideal for spine-leaf and leaf-leaf architectures inside racks or across adjacent racks.
Fully compliant with OSFP MSA, CMIS v4.0, and IEEE 802.3ck standards, it ensures reliable interoperability in 800G Ethernet environments.
