The 400GBASE-DR4 silicon photonics OSFP module features an MTP/MPO-12 connector and supports transmission distances of up to 500 meters over parallel single-mode fiber. It complies with OSFP MSA, CMIS 4.0 (I²C interface), and 400GAUI-8 standards.
The 400 Gigabit Ethernet signal is transmitted across four parallel optical lanes at 1310nm, with one wavelength per lane. This module also supports 4×100G breakout configurations to QSFP-DR-100G, making it ideal for high-density interconnects in data centers.
