The 8-Channel DWDM MUX/DEMUX (CH21–CH28) is a fully passive optical multiplexing solution designed for scalable C-band transmission over dual fiber. It combines eight ITU-T DWDM wavelengths into a single fiber pair, maximizing capacity while keeping the network simple, stable, and future-proof.
Designed by GLOBALfiber, this module complies with the ITU-T G.694.1 standard using a 100 GHz grid. The compact LGX plug-in format allows installation in a standard 4-slot 19” 1U rack, making it ideal for central offices, data centers, and access aggregation sites.
An integrated EXP (Expansion) port enables straightforward capacity growth by cascading additional DWDM MUX/DEMUX units with other wavelength ranges—without installing or leasing extra fiber.
