Product Overview
The 40G/100G Muxponder (TMUX8) is a versatile optical transponder designed for DWDM and CWDM networks, enabling seamless multiplexing and demultiplexing between 4×25G or 4×10G client signals and a single 100G or 40G line interface.
The module supports QSFP28-based client access and SFP28-based line interfaces, offering flexible deployment across metro networks, data centers, and enterprise optical backbones.
Compared with traditional coherent 100G solutions, this DWDM-based Muxponder delivers a significant cost reduction and provides a high-performance, energy-efficient alternative for metropolitan and data-center interconnect applications.
