GLOBALfiber LGX WDM Module for GPON, XGS-PON & OTDR
The GLOBALfiber high-performance LGX WDM Module enables full coexistence of GPON, XGS-PON and OTDR on a single fiber, providing a cost-efficient and seamless upgrade path from GPON to 10G XGS-PON without deploying new fiber. Engineered for FTTH, FTTB, FTTx and 5G backhaul networks, the module combines ultra-low insertion loss, high wavelength isolation and carrier-grade thermal stability for reliable performance in demanding access environments.
Supporting GPON (1290–1330 / 1480–1555 nm), XGS-PON (1260–1280 / 1575–1580 nm) and OTDR monitoring (1600–1675 nm), this LGX plug-in module ensures clean signal separation and stable coexistence across all wavelengths. With insertion loss in the 0.9–1.3 dB range and isolation greater than 30 dB, it is optimized for operators migrating to XGS-PON while keeping legacy GPON services active.
Available in 1×, 3× and 6× WDM configurations, with connector options including SC/UPC, SC/APC and LC, the module offers flexible deployment in OLT racks, street cabinets and central office environments.
