The MCP1600-E00xxx is a high-performance 100G QSFP28 Direct Attach Copper (DAC) cable, fully compatible with NVIDIA and Mellanox InfiniBand EDR systems. This passive 1-meter DAC cable features a QSFP28 to QSFP28 interface and utilizes four parallel copper pairs, each supporting 25Gb/s to deliver an aggregated 100Gb/s data rate.
Built on the QSFP28 MSA and compliant with IEEE 802.3bj, this low-latency, low-power interconnect is ideal for high-speed, short-reach data center applications. DACs are widely used for server-to-switch, GPU cluster, and spine-to-super-spine connections in InfiniBand and Ethernet-based networks.
