The MMS4X00-NS Compatible 800G OSFP DR8L Optical Transceiver is engineered for InfiniBand NDR (Next Data Rate) networks, delivering 800Gbps through a 2x400G twin-port design. This short-reach parallel single-mode transceiver operates over 1310nm wavelength using 100G-PAM4 modulation, with dual MPO-12/APC connectors, each supporting 4 channels at 100G. The transceiver supports a reach of up to 100 meters over 8-fiber single-mode (SMF) links.
Designed for high-performance computing (HPC), AI/ML infrastructure, and supercomputing applications, this DR8L module ensures seamless connectivity and low-latency performance in Quantum-2 air-cooled switches and other high-density data center environments. Its integrated finned-top heatsink enables efficient thermal management in demanding deployments.
Compliant with InfiniBand NDR and OSFP MSA standards, and supporting Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM), the 800G OSFP DR8L transceiver offers exceptional bandwidth, scalability, and energy-efficient performance for next-generation computing environments.
