NVIDIA/Mellanox Compatible 400G OSFP to 2×200G QSFP56 HDR AOC Breakout Cable, Active Optical
The MFA7U10-H00x is a high-speed 400G Active Optical Breakout Cable designed for InfiniBand HDR systems. It features a single-port OSFP on one end and breaks out to two QSFP56 twin-port connectors on the other, delivering 2 × 200Gbps full-duplex transmission over an integrated 3-meter optical fiber assembly.
Utilizing the OSFP Rev. 5.0 and QSFP56 form factors, this active optical cable (AOC) supports 8 parallel lanes (4 per QSFP56), each operating at 50Gb/s PAM4, resulting in ultra-low latency and high-performance connectivity for InfiniBand-based deployments.
AOCs are ideal for hyperscale data centers, AI clusters, GPU interconnects, and InfiniBand storage fabrics. Compared to DACs, AOCs offer greater flexibility, lighter weight, better airflow, and support for longer distances, all while maintaining lower power consumption and increased reliability.
