Overview
The Gigabit PoE Fiber Media Converter with LFPT extends Ethernet networks over fiber while delivering Power over Ethernet (PoE) to remote devices. The converter seamlessly converts 10/100/1000BASE-T copper Ethernet to 1000BASE-X fiber, allowing reliable long-distance network connectivity.
Equipped with Link Fault Pass-Through (LFPT) functionality, the converter automatically propagates link failure information across the network, helping administrators quickly detect faults and improve network reliability.
With support for IEEE 802.3af/at PoE standards and a compact metal housing, this media converter is ideal for powering and connecting devices such as IP cameras, wireless access points, and VoIP phones in surveillance and enterprise networks.
