The GLOBALfiber G-CMUX-3161-B-1U-MLU is a passive CWDM Mux/Demux that combines and separates optical wavelength channels. This 19-inch 1U rack version provides 8 bidirectional services / 16 wavelengths for single fiber, side b networks, making it suitable for wavelength-based expansion of existing fiber infrastructure. Its channel configuration is 1310-1610 nm; 20 nm spacing. Use it with the corresponding complementary unit at the opposite end of the link.
Select the unit by its channel plan, fiber arrangement and connector type. The multiplexer routes optical wavelengths; the connected transceivers and available optical budget determine the usable service rate and transmission distance.
